Springtime Is Coming

So in love with how this photo came out. This was taken on a tree in front of my home. I love the way Bradford pear trees look when they are bloom, however, in my opinion they smell horrible when they are in the blooming stage. Thankfully spring is right around the corner.

Birds Of The Beach

It is almost that time of year. Ugh, I can’t wait. I had to go ahead and post these images. I couldn’t wait. I love to photograph birds at the beach. I love watching how they interact with each other. It’s really quite amusing sometimes. I love watching how they glide over the water so peacefully. I love how free they are. These were taken on the Outer Banks of North Carolina in Southern Shores on my family vacation in 2024.

Trying Something A Little Different

These photos are different than what I have posted and from what you are used to seeing. I was able to hang out with my friend today and here are some shots I took with my Iphone 15 plus. I love them! So simple. No edits or anything. I really would like to see myself posting more of these kind of photos. This blog is just a representation of something I love to do, that is, take photos. Most of my work tends to be nature photography, as I love to be outdoors, but, the older I get, I am learning there is so much beauty in the simple things of life. We just have to open our eyes and look. No, I will not stop posting more polished work, but I will definitely start posting more of these kind of images. This is a photo blog mainly and so I am going to be posting just that, photos! Hope you enjoy!

Birds and Feeders

It’s always so much fun sitting on my friend’s porch and watch the birds come and go. His bird feeders attract many different kinds of birds. As sat and watched the birds, I couldn’t help but think of the verse in the Bible where it talks about if God looks after the birds, He will look after me. It’s beautiful how God will use nature to remind us of these blessings!

Fall At Salem Lake Park and Trail

I know we are way past fall season. Here some photos I took on the last couple of days of fall last year in a park local to my home. This park is beautiful and has a long walking trail. This is Salem Park in Winston Salem, NC. I only walked a small part of the trail. I wanted to walk more and wish I would’ve walked more but I got there too late and I had to go to an event at my folks house. I am happy though with the images I was able to capture.

Happy Sunday! On My Way Home From Worship

This photo was taken February 16, 2025 on my way home from worship. This is Sauratown Mountain in North Carolina. I took this from inside of my car. I didn’t think I would have time to get out, so, I just slowed down, opened the window and took a quick picture. I want to go back and photograph the area in more detail soon.

On My Way Home

I was on my way home on Friday and the sunset was too beautiful to miss. Those that know me know I love evening skies and this one for sure did not disappoint. I recently moved to a different area of the city I am living in and this gets to be my view every time I come home. I live in a beautiful part of North Carolina and I am so thankful for the opportunity to live here.

The second photo was taken from my backyard of where I now live.

Foggy Sunrise at Pilot Mountain

Here are some photos from my recent trip to Pilot Mountain in North Carolina. My friend and I were hoping to catch a sunrise. It was something neither us had done from that mountain but we figured it might be something nice to try. It was foggy and we thought the fog would clear up some. It only cleared for a little while. After that a slight wind blew the fog in again. It wasn’t too thick thankfully. At first I was a little disappointed but the photos I got were so beautiful. This has inspired me to try this more often. Always good to step out of your comfort zone and try something new. These shots were taken on my Iphone 15 plus and my Canon Rebel T6.
