About Me

Welcome! Thank you so much for visiting with me. Grab a cup of coffee (or whatever drink you prefer) and stay a while. This blog serves as a photo journal for me. I love to take photos, post and write about them. On this blog, you will find any and all things photo related.

I became interested in photography when I was 17 years old.  That was almost 16 years ago.   I received my first digital camera the age of 18. It was a Sony Alpha entry level DSLR. Up until then, I had been using a 4 mega pixel Kodak Easy Share point-and-shoot camera. However, I quickly learned that it was ultimately the person behind the camera that really mattered.

In reality, I just love art, but, photography has been where I have found my niche. I did take an art class in high school which help me learn a lot about composition techniques. I also enjoy all different kinds of photography and I love experimenting with different techniques as well.

When I am not working on photos, you will find me reading and writing poetry, crocheting or knitting a blanket, or playing the piano and working on music for Church.

I have sold prints of my artwork and I have done work for clients in the past, but, to be honest, I just love taking photos and sharing them with the world. I have also learned that I enjoy photographing the simple things of life. There is so much beauty in the world if we only open our eyes and look.
